About me

I graduated from the University of Leeds with a First in Music, and majored in vocal performance throughout my degree. Whilst at university, I studied with Bridget Budge as well as taking the opportunity to work with a number of eminent conductors and musical directors, including; Martin Pickard, Clive Brown and Eno Koco.

I was lucky to perform as a soloist with a number of choral societies throughout my time at university, as well as building upon my acting experience through the university's Opera society. I had the unique opportunity to create the role of Eudoxia in the UK premiere of Spohr's 'Pietro von Abbano' as part of my final year, and was a regular recitalist at Ripon Cathedral, Clothworkers Centenary Concert Hall, Bradford Town Hall and the Pennine Spring Music Festival, amongst other venues.

Now based in Stourbridge, I am a member of the Birmingham Bach Choir under Paul Spicer and regularly undertake solo engagements for choirs across the UK in addition to performing frequently at wedding ceremonies, and giving recitals. Recently, I was absolutely thrilled to premiere 'Sound the Invisible Trumps' for Paul Spicer at Birmingham Cathedral, where I also performed Fauré's 'Requiem' a few years ago. 

I love to teach and currently work with students at all levels providing singing lessons, vocal coaching and repertoire sessions. As if that wasn't enough singing, I also lead the Mary Stevens Hospice choir as a volunteer and regularly participate in fundraising events for the hospice, both with the choir and as a soloist.
